VVOCs – a new substance group in the focus of indoor air analysis

Against the background of the evaluation of emissions from building products and the assessment of indoor air quality, the group of so-called VVOCs (volatile organic compounds) is increasingly becoming the focus of attention.

The Webinar follows on contextually from the Webinar “Extremely elusive: Very Volatile Organic Compounds” from November 17th, 2015 and presents the results of a research project in which the Fraunhofer WKI, together with industrial partners, has intensively addressed the topic of VVOCs.

In addition to an analytical method for the detection of VVOCs, which was developed at the Fraunhofer WKI, the relevance of the substance group will be explained by means of the emission behavior of wood and wood-based materials as well as the air quality in wood-based prefabricated houses.

The Webinar is aimed at all interested parties involved with emissions from building products and furniture and furnishings as well as the air quality in indoor areas.
