Dr. Hatem Abushammala is the fourth Wilhelm Klauditz Fellow of the Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research, Wilhelm-Klauditz-Institut WKI. From August 2017 until March 2020, the materials scientist is conducting his research at the Fraunhofer WKI in Braunschweig on the preparation of electrically conductive nanoparticles using renewable materials. In addition to his research as a Fellow, he is leading an international research project.

From 30^th September to 2^nd October 2020, the Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research, Wilhelm-Klauditz-Institut WKI, and the European Panel Federation (EPF), in collaboration with the International Association for Technical Issues related to Wood (iVTH) and Sasol Wax, will be presenting the 12^th European Wood-based Panel Symposium at the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg. The submission of abstracts for presentations at the event will remain possible until 31^st January 2020 via the event website.
